Additional Information
SALT is a unique restaurant located in Kadriorg, where creativity, courage, and globally inspired flavors meet. The kitchen is led by chef Marko Kaljend, whose style is fresh, free, and experimental, born in the same kitchen but evolved to a new level.
The SALT kitchen is inspired by the life around us – nature, cultures, and tastes from all over the world. On the plate, the traditions of different regions meet, from Asia to South America, merging skillfully with our own home flavors. The result is fusion cuisine that surprises, offers contrasts, and creates experiences in every bite.
The restaurant's young and cosmopolitan team creates culinary experiences daily, where explosive flavor combinations arise from simple raw materials. The hallmarks of SALT's kitchen are experimenting with plant-based food, fermentation, pickling, and marinating, high-level street food, and sustainable and waste-free approaches.
The focus is on pure and quality raw materials, carefully selected herbs and ingredients that support both flavor and well-being. The menu features nostalgic nuances as well as bold ideas from various world cuisines – all served in SALT's own creative style.
SALT's mission is to provide an experience for all senses – to surprise, inspire, and take diners on a flavor journey where every visit is a new experience. “Every day is new for us” – and this can be felt in every detail.
The drink menu offers a thoughtful selection of quality beverages, including reasonably priced premium wines and low-alcohol alternatives that complement the flavor experience.
