Additional Information
Throughout his life, photographer Jüri Luht has been involved with photography, as both his parents and two older siblings work in the field of photography.
Photography has always been a potential profession for him. After his military service in the Estonian Defense Forces, he developed a desire to engage more seriously with photography. He has now specialized in portrait photography.
His career's biggest turning points include photography workshops that took place in London and Tucson, Arizona. The workshops were conducted by the world-renowned photographer and author of photography books Roberto Valenzuela, who is a role model and advisor to photographer Jüri Luht.
In his photos, he always tries to highlight the person's personality and uniqueness. Luht has set himself the goal that the moments would be timeless even decades later when looking at the photos. He photographs people in a way that does not leave the impression that they have posed for the photo.
