Tammsaare Theatre presents a moving and thought-provoking production „Behind the Dam” – a story about people whose souls are filled with feelings they can no longer keep inside. A story that speaks of a quiet Irish village where life follows its own path... until the water starts to flow behind the dam – both literally and symbolically.
The performance brings to the stage human stories, memories, and secrets that are waiting to be released. It is a poetic and deeply meaningful journey through the realms of silence, friendship, loss, and redemption – a reflection of how each of us builds our own dam within ourselves.

The premiere took place on June 10, 2025, at Peningi Manor.
