A completely renewed spa is waiting for you to relax! In February 2026, the fully renewed spa at Johan SPA Hotell was completed, inviting guests to enjoy peace, comfort and a freshly created wellness environment.
The renovated water and sauna center offers a spacious indoor pool with massage jets, a heated outdoor pool open year-round, a jacuzzi and invigorating cold-water pools. The sauna world has also been expanded with an infrared sauna, complementing the classic Finnish saunas and steam sauna and offering even more varied ways to relax and recover.
The new spa has been created inspired by the nature of Saaremaa – so that every visit is a moment for yourself. Additional relaxation is offered by various spa treatments.
Taste buds can be treated at Restaurant Pähkel, which is characterized by the saying "a hearty filling under a crispy shell." Pähkel is a wonder of our Nordic nature. Inside Pähkel's nature-inspired and modest shell hides a delicious treat. That is why it perfectly symbolizes both the spirit of our restaurant and the idea of our cuisine. The symbol has guided the design of the entire restaurant, from color tones, materials and interior design to what is served in the kitchen. But this is not a restaurant that serves dishes made from nuts, but one where a pleasant atmosphere and good service are combined with delicious Nordic food.
Entertainment is offered by lounge bar Lounge 13, where various events are often held. On site you can enjoy good music, delicious cocktails and pleasant company. You can also test your skills in playing billiards.
