Canoe Trips is a small tourism company whose main activity is organizing canoe trips in Tartu city and its surroundings.
Canoe trip in Tartu is a great opportunity to unplug from the usual city rhythm for a few hours and get to know Emajõgi Athens from a slightly different angle.
On the sunset trip, you will paddle as a unified group under the guidance of an experienced guide through the natural outskirts of the city until Kvissental, where we will turn around and head back to Tartu. The end of the trip is planned for sunset. No special skills or canoeing experience are required to participate in the trip. It is well suited for a romantic experience, where you can invite your partner along.
Before heading onto the water, the guide will provide a briefing based on the group's experiences. The wide-bottomed canoes are stable and are not easily overturned.
Important to know before going on the water:
- Water is wet and to ensure safety, it is important to maintain a clear mind. We do not take intoxicated individuals onto the water.
- Choose appropriate clothing for the weather. Keep in mind that in addition to clothes, you need to wear the life jacket provided by us.
- Pack your phone and/or other electronic devices that are prone to moisture in a waterproof bag.
- It is better to leave preschool-age children and/or pets at home.
