Canoe Trips is a small tourism company primarily focused on organizing canoe trips in Tartu city and its surroundings.
Canoe trip in Tartu is a great opportunity to disconnect from the usual city rhythm for a few hours and explore the Emajõgi Athens from a different perspective.
Exciting and romantic night canoeing on Emajõgi. Canoeing at dusk is a unique experience – sunset colors, torches light, evening nature sounds, light fog over the water, city lights reflecting from the Emajõgi, all of this creates a very mystical feeling. Under the guidance of an experienced tour guide, we will paddle as a group along the edge of the city into nature up to Kvissental, where we will turn around and head back to Tartu. For illumination and ambiance, torches are attached to the fronts of the canoes.
Before getting on the water, the guide will give a briefing based on the group's experience. The wide-bottomed canoes are stable and rarely tip over.
Important information before going on the water:
- The water is wet and to ensure safety, you must maintain a sober mind. We do not take intoxicated people on the water.
- Choose weather-appropriate clothing. Consider that besides clothing, you must also wear the life vest provided by us.
- Pack your phone and/or other electronics that might get wet in a waterproof bag.
- It is better to leave preschool children and/or pets at home.
