Joematkad is a small tourism company whose main activity is organizing canoe trips in Tartu city and its surroundings.
Canoe Trip in Tartu is a great opportunity to disconnect from the usual city rhythm for a few hours and familiarize yourself with the Emajõgi Athens from a different perspective.
We will travel under the guidance of an experienced guide as a united group through the edge of the city, through the city center, and explore places that typical visitors do not often encounter. Tartu city trips are also suitable for beginner canoeists; the river is calm in the Tartu area, and no special preparation or physical fitness is required to participate in the trip.
Before going on the water, the guide will give a briefing based on the group's experience. The wide-bottomed canoes are stable and unlikely to tip over.
Notes before going on the water:
- The water is wet, and to ensure safety, you must maintain a sober mind. We will not take intoxicated people with us on the water.
- Choose appropriate clothing for the weather. Keep in mind that in addition to your clothing, you will also need to wear the life jacket provided by us.
- Pack your phone and/or other electronic devices that might get wet in a waterproof bag.
- It is better to leave preschool-aged children and/or pets at home.
