DUETS
„Duets“ is a fast-paced play where four different couples often find themselves in comical and spicy situations. Actors Merle Palmiste and Raivo E. Tamm perform in four short stories: Blind Date, Secretary, Divorce, and Wedding. We witness anxious dates, unanswered and answered feelings, lively breakups, and a wedding where the bride, about to marry for the third time, refuses to step out the door. The performance offers recognition, laughter, and always the hope that the best is yet to come.
Peter Quilter is a contemporary English playwright whose works have been translated into 30 languages and performed worldwide, including on Broadway and the West End. Six of his plays have been staged in Estonia, including the exceptionally successful „Snow Bound“, which was performed 150 times at the Comedy Theater! „Brilliant!“ has reached both the Estonian Drama Theatre and Vanemuine stage, and „Duets” is being presented for the second time. The author has kept an eye on the staging of his play and wishes a long life for the production.
