Terms

- The offer is valid for one sailing enthusiast and includes a 3-hour summer sailing course "First Sailing", during which:
- you will get acquainted with the yacht and the sea
- you will learn some basic sail handling techniques
- you will practice steering the yacht
- you will gain your first sea experience
- The training takes place at a relaxed pace, with time left to enjoy being on the sea and admire Tallinn’s panorama (Patarei Prison, Lennusadam, Katariina kai, etc.)
- The practical sailing training is conducted under the guidance of an experienced instructor
- The courses start in Pirita, at Kalevi Jahtklubi harbour on Fridays and Sundays at 13:00
- All sea enthusiasts are welcome regardless of gender or age
- A training group usually has 3-6 people
- In bad weather, if the wind exceeds 10 m/s or it rains, the training will be postponed
- The training date will be agreed by email or phone after purchasing the voucher
- After purchasing the voucher, send your contact details and voucher details within 7 days (voucher number and PIN code, email address and phone number) to the sailing school’s email address koolitus@nautilus.ee or via the registration form on the website: www.nautilus.ee/purjetamine/esimene-purjetamine
- After you submit your contact details, the sailing school will contact you within a few days
- When registering, please indicate the time when you would like to attend the training. If you are buying the training as a gift, please provide the recipient’s contact details and the date from which we may contact the recipient.
Additional Information
Nautilus Purjetamiskool is the oldest adult sailing school in Estonia, with fifteen years of experience in training sailors and organising sailing trips in the Mediterranean countries.
The sailing school instructors are experienced sailors with backgrounds in racing and offshore sailing. The training yachts include a smaller Beneteau First 7.5 keelboat and a larger offshore yacht Beneteau Oceanis 43. In addition to sailing courses, practice trips on Tallinn Bay take place every Saturday, sightseeing trips by sailboat and motorboat in the Tallinn area, sailing trips in the Mediterranean countries, a sailing camp in Thailand, and much more.
Sailing under sails has been an inseparable part of our lives since the ancient Viking voyages. Come sail the waves like a true seafaring people!
