Glass Studio Workshop “Coffee Friends”.
In the workshop, you will create an original glass coffee cup using sandblasting and engraving techniques. Additionally, you will melt a colorful glass bead with an exciting pattern in a live fire, which you can use as a bookmark.
You will engrave a beautiful design on the coffee cup using a sandblaster, and if desired, you can add details with a hand engraver. A special tape will help you here, with which you can cut shapes with a cutter or pattern bars and stick them to the cup. The glass uncovered by the tape will turn milky white in the sandblasting, while the area under the tape will remain clear and transparent. For the base of the coffee cup, we have either a latte or a black coffee cup available, either with thick walls or double walls.
You can take the cup home right away and start enjoying your coffee. The glass bead, however, will stay in the studio to cool until the next day, and you can use it as a bookmark.
